Notes :

  • Use thin pork cutlets: Since pork cutlets are thin, they cook quickly and maintain their tenderness, making them a great choice for this meal. If you are unable to locate cutlets that are thin, you can use a meat mallet to pound them until they are thin.

  • Reserve some pasta water: It is important to remember to save aside some of the pasta water when you are draining the cooked noodles. If the sauce becomes too thick, you can use this starchy water to thin it out instead of adding more water.

  • Add more veggies: If you want to make the dish even more savory and healthful, you are free to add more veggies to it. These might make wonderful additions: sliced mushrooms, diced zucchini, or chopped spinach, among other things.

  • Experiment with herbs and spices: Do not be afraid to try out a variety of herbs and spices in order to find the ones that best fit your preferences. There are a few herbs that might work nicely in the sauce, such thyme, rosemary, or oregano. Additionally, a sprinkling of red pepper flakes would give the dish a delicious blast of heat.

  • The leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three to four days if they are transferred to an airtight container after they have cooled. You have the option of reheating it in the microwave using a dish that is safe for the microwave, or you can reheat it on the stovetop using a medium heat setting.
  • If you discover that the creamy noodles have become too thick while being stored in the refrigerator, you can add a splash of milk or cream to the sauce as you are reheating it in order to loosen it up.
