Air Fryer Potato Wedges Recipe

Spiced air-fried potato wedges that are crunchy – Seasonings that are just the right amount of salty, spicy, sweet, and sour, and that delicious crunch! The best comfort food crunch ever, but without the fat of deep-frying.

Ingredient

– 1 kg potatoes ( 4 large ) – 4 Tbsp olive oil or other cooking oils (see notes) – 2 tsp salt – 1 tsp onion powder – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp sweet paprika or Kashmiri chili powder – 1 tsp corriander powder – 1 tsp turmeric powder – 1 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice – 1 tsp citric acid / dry mango powder / sumac powder – 1/2 tsp pepper (ground)

Potato Prep Wash and peel potatoes. Slice vertically and cut each half into 4-6 wedges.

Cover with water in a deep basin. Keep covered for 30 minutes. Drain water and dry wedges with a paper towel or kitchen cloth after 30 minutes.

Seasoning Mix oil into potatoes lightly to coat.

Mix the remaining dry seasoning ingredients and apply to wedges. Toss lightly for even coating.

The air fryer Pre-heat air fryer for 3–5 minutes at 200 C or 390 F Place one layer of wedges on your Air Fryer tray. Fry 10 minutes.

Flip wedges and fry 5 more minutes. Verify crunchy and golden brown. If not, cook 5 more minutes. Immediately serve hot with your favorite dip.
