Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe 

This balsamic vinaigrette is tart, sweet, and zesty. Just five pantry items, five minutes, and a jar! Is that easy? Making salad dressing at home is easy!

Ingredient

– ½ cup extra virgin olive oil – 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (I like whole grain or seeded) – 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar – 4 tablespoons honey – Kosher salt

Direction

Mix olive oil, Dijon, balsamic, and honey in a large basin. Add a sprinkle of salt and whisk until the vinaigrette emulsifies.

Add one tablespoon of hot water to thin it. Add Dijon for additional pepper. Add honey for sweetness.

Splash additional balsamic for tartness. If it tastes bland, add a touch extra salt.

You can use it right away or put it in a jar with a lid and put it in the fridge for up to two weeks. Before serving, shake it well.
