Banana Bread Recipe 

Baking soda-free banana bread. The ample use of ripe bananas adds flavor and texture. Have it with coffee or toasted buttered breakfast. Mid-morning snacks are perfect in lunch boxes.

Ingredient

– 3 medium Egg – 1 Cup Oil – 1.5 Cups Sugar – 3 Cups Self-raising Flour – 3 medium Banana – 1 cup Walnuts crushed – 1 cup Milk (or sour cream) warm – 2 teaspoons Cinnamon – 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Essence

Preheat the oven to 360 F (180 C). Line a baking pan or loaf tin with parchment paper.

Mash bananas with a fork or masher and set aside. Mix sugar and oil in a large bowl until smooth.

Add eggs and vanilla essence and beat until light and frothy. Add milk and stir. Batter will now resemble a thick milkshake.

Stir in the flour and cinnamon powder using a spoon or spatula until completely mixed. Gently stir in mashed banana.

Mix in crumbled walnuts. Bake for 50 minutes until done.
