Chocolate Dipped Coconut Peanut Granola Bars Recipe

It is tasty, chewy, and soft, yet it is produced with only five primary ingredients!   

– 1 1/2 cups (175 g) old-fashioned oat – 2/3 cup (60 g) unsweetened shredded coconut – 1/2 cup (70 g) unsalted roasted peanuts, finely chopped – 6 tablespoons (80 g) unsalted butter, melted – 1/2 cup (120 ml) honey – 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 7 oz (200 g) semisweet chocolate, finely chopped

INGREDIENTS

Prep: Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread some cooking spray on an 8-inch (20-cm) square pan and then lay two strips of parchment paper across each other in a crossing pattern.   

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

The paper should hang over the sides so that it's easy to take the bars out of the pan after they're done baking.   

STEP 2

Make: In a big bowl, mix the oats, coconut, and peanuts together. Put away. Melt the butter and mix it with the honey, salt, and vanilla. Put the mix on top of the oats.   

STEP 3

With a spoon, mix it well so that all the dry bits are covered. Put this mixture in the baking pan and press it down so that it's tight and even.   

STEP 4

Put it in the middle of the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.   

STEP 5

Let it cool all the way in the pan, then put it in the fridge for another 30 to 60 minutes to cool even more. Take the block out of the pan and use a very sharp knife to cut it into 12 long bars.   

STEP 6

Put the chocolate in a heat-safe bowl and set it over a pot of boiling water. This will help you make chocolate bars.   

STEP 7

Stir it around a few times as you cook until it's almost all melted. Take it off the heat and let the last few pieces melt.   

STEP 8

Use the chocolate to cover the bars. Put them in the fridge by putting the chocolate side up on a baking sheet or plate. Put it in the fridge until the chocolate sets.   

STEP 9

The bars can be stacked or put in a container after they have been frozen. Granola bars should be eaten within a week of being put in the fridge.
