Crispy Hearts Of Palm Tacos Recipe

Ingredient

– 1 teaspoon minced garlic – 1 chipotle pepper in adobo – ½ cup mayonnaise – Juice of 1 ½ limes, plus more lime wedges for serving – 1 cup shredded coleslaw mix – ½ cup cornstarch – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon ground black pepper – 1 (15-ounce) can hearts of palm, drained – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 6 corn tortilla

Direction

Mix garlic, chipotle pepper, mayonnaise, and lime juice in a food processor.Proceed until nearly smooth.

Pour chipotle sauce over coleslaw in a big bowl.Mix with tongs and leave aside.

Add the chili powder, salt, and pepper to a different big bowl and mix them together using a whisk.

Tear up the hearts of palm with your hands.Mix the seasoned cornstarch with the shredded hearts of palm and toss to coat.

Set a big pan over medium-low heat and add the oil.To keep the pan from getting too crowded, add the hearts of palm that have been covered and cook them until they are crispy.

Over an open flame, cook corn tortillas.Add crispy hearts of palm on hot corn tortillas on a serving platter to make tacos.
