INSTRUCTIONS

Unnet the pork roast and place it on a large plate. Sprinkle paprika, oregano, cumin, sea salt, and black pepper on all sides and rub into the meat.

Step 1

Add chopped onion and garlic to the slow cooker's bottom. Add the seasoned pork roast and chopped apples to the slow cooker.

Step 2

Add apple cider, broth, cider vinegar, and molasses to a measuring cup and stir. Put this mixture in the slow cooker.

Step 3

Cover your crock pot and cook on low for 8–12 hours to tenderise meat. Shred the cooked pork roast with two forks on a cutting board.

Return the shredded pork to the crock pot and stir. Let it soak up juices for 10 minutes. You can leave the shredded pork in the juices on "keep warm" for several hours.

Step 5

Pulled pork goes well in burrito bowls, sandwiches, nachos, and potato or broccoli salad.

Step 6

Spread some pork on a large baking sheet in a single layer and broil for 5–8 minutes until crispy. You can also crisp pork in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
