Fleur De Sel Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

In Fleur de Sel Chocolate Chip Blondies, there are lots of rich chocolate chips and coarse sea salt on top. 


– 2 & 1/3 (280g) cups all-purpose flour – 1 & 1/4 teaspoon baking soda – pinch fine sea salt (optional) – 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup (200g) firmly packed light brown sugar – 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar – 2 large egg – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 3 cups (510g) semisweet chocolate chip – 1 to 1 & 1/2 tablespoons fleur de sel (or other large-flake sea salt)

Warm the oven up to 375°F. Use cooking spray or butter to grease a 9" x 13" x 2" baking pan.

Add the baking soda, salt, and flour to a bowl and mix them together using a whisk. Put away. 

Step 2

Beat butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add each sugar slowly and mix until light and fluffy.  After adding each egg, mix well. Add vanilla and stir. 

Step 3

Turn down the mixer's speed. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix just until everything is combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in.

Step 4

Spread the dough out evenly in the pan that has been prepared. Add fleur de sel to the top of the dough.

Step 5

Finish with a golden brown top and a set middle. Cool completely on a wire rack in the pan before cutting into bars.
