Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff

This Instant Pot Beef Stroganoff is a quick and easy weeknight dinner with great flavour. An easy pressure cooker classic!  

– 2 tablespoons butter – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 pound ground beef – 1 large onion – 2 cloves garlic – 8 ounces mushrooms  – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper – 1 teaspoon paprika – ¼ cup white wine – 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour – 8 ounces egg noodle – 2½ cups beef broth – ¾ cup sour cream – 2 tablespoons fresh parsley



To begin, set your Instant Pot to sauté. In the instant pot, add the butter and olive oil, then heat until the butter melts.

Add ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon. Cook beef for 3 minutes until no longer pink.

Stir in onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add flour and paprika, stirring well.

Wait until the natural release cycle is finished, which should take around ten minutes, after the Instant Pot cycle is finished.

 Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for a prompt release. Carefully open the instant pot and take off the lid.
