Instant Pot Lasagna

Its perfect blend of Italian cheeses, browned ground beef, and tender pasta pressure-cooked in marinara makes this Instant Pot Lasagna a game-changer! In under 45 minutes, you can make delicious homemade lasagna. 

– 1½ pounds ground beef  – 1 small onion  – 3 cloves garlic  – 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning – salt and pepper – 24 ounces marinara sauce  – 1 pound pasta – 2 cups beef broth – ½ cup ricotta cheese – ½ cup Parmesan cheese – 1 cup Mozzarella cheese – 1 tablespoon fresh basil



Set your Instant Pot to sauté. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic to the Instant Pot and break up with a wooden spoon.

Cook until meat is no longer pink, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cook for 2 more minutes to soften onion. Add pasta, marinara sauce, and beef broth to IP. Stir well and scrape the bottom to remove stuck bits.

Use the lid.  Seal the valve and cook 4 minutes on Manual/High Pressure in the Instant Pot.

Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes after the Instant Pot cycle, then carefully release the pressure.

Stir well after opening the lid. Stir in ricotta and Parmesan, then top with mozzarella.

To melt the cheese, close the lid and wait a few minutes. Add basil as a garnish and serve.
