There are sweet grapes, orange juice, and cinnamon in this simple Italian cake. You can also use up any extra grapes this way.
– 1 ½ cups all purpose flour– ¾ teaspoon baking powder– ¼ teaspoon kosher salt– 2 large egg– ⅔ cup granulated sugar– ⅓ cup milk– ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil– ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted– 1 teaspoon orange zest– ½ teaspoon cinnamon– 2 cups small purple grape– powdered sugar for dusting

Pre-heat oven to 350. Set aside a 9-inch springform pan greased with cooking spray or butter and flour. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; put aside.

Beat eggs and sugar with a handheld mixer in a large bowl for 3–4 minutes until thick. Add milk, oil, butter, orange zest, and cinnamon and stir well.

Mix the flour mixture just until mixed. Mix in purple grapes. Put the mixture in the pan.

Bake on the center rack for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cake center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Use a knife to loosen and remove the pan sides. Let cool fully. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
