Pineapple Ground Beef Recipe

Pineapple Ground Beef with bell pepper, pineapple chunks, and crispy beef in a sweet and spicy chilli sauce is delicious. Chopped green onions, seeds, and tamari give Asian flavour, and peanuts bring crunch. The few minutes in this recipe make it perfect for hectic nights. Nothing unusual is needed to cook it.

– 1 1/2poundsground beefyou can also you chicken, turkey, or pork – 1/4teaspoonblack pepper – 1/4teaspoonchili flake – 3tablespoonsunsalted butter – 4clovesgarlicminced – 1tablespoonfresh gingergrated – 1red bell pepperseeds removed and cut into chunk – 2cupsfresh pineapple chunk – 1/3cupsoy sauceor tamari for GF – 1/4cupThai chili sauceyou can also use homemade – 1/4cupgreen onionschopped – 1tablespoonsesame seed – 1 1/2cupscilantrochopped – 1/2cupThai basilchopped – 2tablespoonslime juice – 1/4cupunsalted roasted peanutschopped

Add meat, black pepper, and chilli flakes to a wok or big skillet over medium heat.

Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat and brown it in 4-5 minutes. Stir in the butter, garlic, and ginger and cook for 2 more minutes until the steak is crispy.

Then add bell pepper chunks and 1 cup pineapple chunks. Stir in the soy and sweet chilli sauces and simmer until the steak is coated, 2-3 minutes.

Mix the chopped cilantro, basil, lime juice, and peanuts with the remaining 1 cup pineapple pieces in a medium bowl.

Stir in green onions and sesame seeds. Get off the heat. Add pineapple cilantro salad to rice bowls and serve beef. Enjoy!
