– 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 & 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar – 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 to 3 tablespoons jam or thick preserves* – 2 tablespoons chopped honey roasted peanut – coarse salt**

Warm the oven up to 350°F. Grease a baking dish that is 8 inches square. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Put away.

The peanut butter, butter, eggs, and vanilla should all be mixed together with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Add the flour mixture and mix just until everything is combined.

Spread the batter out evenly in the pan that has been prepared. Spread the jam on top of the dough. Add the peanuts on top. 

Step 3

For 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Add some coarse salt. Let it cool down before you cut it into bars.
