Skillet Lasagna Recipe

This Skillet Lasagna is a weeknight game-changer with hearty flavours and a 30-minute prep time! One pan makes delicious meat, pasta, and melted cheese layers. 

– 1 pound ground beef – 5 cloves garlic  – ¼ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper  – 2 teaspoon oregano  – 1 teaspoon basil – 1 teaspoon rosemary  – 28 ounce crushed tomatoe – 4 cups water – 1 pound pasta  – ½ cup ricotta cheese – 4 ounce Parmesan cheese  – 1 cup Mozzarella cheese  – 1 tablespoon basil



Preheat oven to 450℉. Cook ground meat for 5–7 minutes in a large oven-safe skillet until no longer pink. If necessary, drain meat.

Mix and cook for 30 seconds. Mix crushed tomatoes, water, and pasta in the skillet. Fully submerge the pasta in water.

Cook pasta 10–12 minutes until al dente. Stop the pasta from sticking to the skillet by stirring occasionally.

Take the skillet off of the hob. Place a layer of ricotta cheese on top, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

Bake skillet for 5–10 minutes until cheese melts and it's golden. Sprinkle fresh basil on top after baking.
