Rare coin lists may exclude this. Many Morgan Silver Dollars from 1878 to 1904 and 1921 are still the most expensive coins on eBay, selling for thousands. The most expensive were 1893 coins, of which only 100,000 were made and many were lost or melted. Today, analysts value a great one at $551,272.
